Rent the Conservatory for your Event
Sunnyside Conservatory is owned by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department.

You must complete a required online Recreation and Park application to schedule an event.
Rental Information (as of February 2025)
Maximum Seating Capacity: 71. Maximum Standing Capacity: 100. Six round tables, five rectangular tables, and 65 padded folding chairs are provided, and must be set up by event sponsor. Applicable rental rate + staffing fee is also charged for set-up and clean up time before and after an event.
Community Events: Use of Sunnyside Conservatory by local non-profit community groups for meetings and activities is welcomed. Community meetings/activities must be hosted by a local community non-profit, free for all to attend, and open to the public. Additionally, there can be no sales of goods or services on site, no admission fee, and no amplified sound. The facility can accommodate up to four community events per month. While permit fees may be waived – pending SFRPD review– there is a 3-hour minimum staffing fee to open and close the facility.
Other Events: Two-hour minimum. $156/hour, Monday – Friday or Sunday, includes staffing fee. $500 cleaning deposit. Weddings/Wedding Receptions and all Saturday rentals: $968 Reservation Fee for first two hours, $193/hour each additional hour. Both include staffing fee. $500 cleaning deposit.
